Paul Wylie heads up the BMO Family Office Canada out of Toronto, Canada. The Canadian division, which is part of the BMO Private Wealth, reports into the Global Family Office located in Chicago, USA.
The integrated, national Family Office team supports wealth professionals throughout BMO Private Wealth & Canadian Commercial Banking by providing institutional solutions to their families with generational wealth by support their financial planning, tax & estate, investment, philanthropic, and banking needs. This approach is achieved through three main areas that links investment solutions, family enterprise legacy planning, and client events & workshops.
Paul's 25+ years of domestic & international experience includes managing business development, people development, and sales & service teams. He is client-centric and results-oriented, with extensive experience around investments in the UHNW and Family Office space. Prior to BMO, Paul spent time mentoring, coaching, and consulting in the financial services field. Paul also held senior management roles at Scotiabank, TD Wealth Management, and IPC Securities.
Paul is immensely proud of his time and effort spent supporting community causes that range from the United Way, Oshawa Hospital Foundation (Cancer Care), Big Brothers & Sisters, and First Peoples’ Truth & Reconciliation efforts. Paul earned a BA from the University of Toronto and has completed the Investment Management Analyst course through the Wharton School of Business. He has been a career-long member of the Canadian Securities Institute, with accomplishments ranging from securities & portfolio management through to Partners, Directors & Officers coursing.
Residing between Fenelon Falls and downtown Toronto, Paul and his wife have 2 children studying at university. When possible, he finds time to travel, ski, golf, and to cheer on the Toronto Maple Leafs.
